Ceux qui ont essayé de définir ce que je fais n'ont réussi que partiellement. Pour moi la sensation est de tisser les aspects de l'Être qui n'ont pas de relation apparente...de guider quelqu'un à une vision de sa propre intégralité / intégrité et perfection...d'aimer quelqu'un pour Qui Il / Elle Est, et de livrer cette personne en toute douceur à un endroit d'émerveillement et de reconnaissance envers la Vie qu'elle/il a créé...de quelque nature que cette Vie soit...d'ouvrir une attitude de responsabilité joyeuse et de sérénité active...de veiller époustouflée pendant que l'un aprés l'autre nous acceptons/réalisons notre destin et commençons à guérir nos sphères d'influence par le biais de l'Amour...
Mes racines sont Brahmanes et Celtes-je suis née aux Antilles, élevée au Manitoba, et j'ai voyagé pour étudier au Japon, en Europe, en Amérique Centrale, et pendant 5 ans dans le quartier chinois de San Francisco. L'entraînement spirituel m'a amenée dans les traditions hindoue, taoïste, bouddhiste tibétaine, wiccaine, chrétienne mystique, crie, anishnabe, miq'ma, maya, et juive.
Je pratique et enseigne la médicine orientale depuis plus de 35 ans à travers les Amériques;j'ai étudiéune variété d'approches psychothérapeutiques (12 ans);j'ai travaillé comme conseillère et formatrice dans des Centres d'intervention de crises pendant 7 ans (principalement avec des victimes de viol et assaut sexuel) et j'ai travaillé en journalisme, en politique, et en design intérieur...comme musicienne et fabricante de tambours et pipes rituelles et de remèdes d'herbes traditionnels...Je suis fermière et mère de 4 individus merveilleux, éduqués à domicile...J'ai l'honneur d'agir comme sage-femme pour des âmes qui entrent ou qui quittent leurs corps physiques. On m'a appelé sorcière, professeure, guide spirituelle, naturothérapeute, mère, guérisseuse, sage-femme, chamane-et tannante!
J'habite la Ferme Racine de Cœur, près de Lac-Mégantic et pas loin de la frontière du Maine-100 hectares de terre protégée ou se rejoignent les Appalaches et les Montagnes Blanches et ou nous continuons à enseigner, à cueillir et à transformer des herbes sauvages, à souligner les solstices et les équinoxes avec des loges de sudation (sweat-lodge) et des rituels personnels.
J'étais co-fondatrice du centre SEVA Re-Source-je continue d'enseigner et de voir des clients à Montréal ainsi qu'a la Ferme et en Europe.

 I grew up and was unschooled for 14 years on Heartroot Farm with my mother (Dawn Bramadat), four brothers, a wide variety of critters and a seemingly endless stream of new and interesting people flowing through and away.
I was raised in close connection with the earth and her rhythms - childhood involved lots of collecting medicinal herbs, meditation and chanting, listening to people expressing long repressed emotions, bonding with cows and donkeys, basking in the silence of maple wood forests, getting really dirty all the time, reading a lot, stacking wood and pushing hay-bales around...
I have been participating in Sweat lodge retreats since I was about nine, and in various forms of therapy groups since my memory begins.
Around the age of thirteen I started writing poetry, and a couple years after began performing it. Since then I have been performing regularly, both poetry and folk music accompanied by guitar and my new love, the banjo.
I have performed across Canada, in United States and Europe, in venues ranging from 5 to 500, from fields to basements to hotels, bars, protests and performance halls. I use music as a tool for healing- both personal and global-and strive to bring awareness of interconnection and the potential for transformation of the current system to participant audiences wherever I go.
For the past few years I have been practicing, studying, experiencing and sharing around the ideas of "Permaculture". Permaculture is essentially a nifty umbrella term for the types of spiritual/social/earth activism that I was raised into and have been exploring ever since. It is a system of design based on the interconnection of all things- flexible enough to attract and contain both hardcore scientists and spiritualists (one and the same in reality).
My journey into Permaculture and my own truths- which began intensively with one year of living in Illinois taking part in the School for Designing a Society and gardening like never before, and led to an Earth Activist Training with Starhawk and then to Findhorn for a one month training in Ecovillage Design, which "completely transformative" only begins to describe- has ultimately led me back to the land I know as home. Nestled in between these two mountain ranges, with a river running through it and a field where the rainbow ends, Heartroot is where I know I will always come back to.
